I hope the driver of the car gets their butt handed to them in court. We all see people rushing on the roads, doing dumb crap, and then needless accidents like this happen. Thankfully, there were no fatalities, which is amazing, because that section of highway is usually jamb packed with traffic.

Those steel coils can be nasty once they come loose. More than once a coil came loose on I-20/59 and punched holes in the bridges downtown.

People in cars play stupid games on the highway.
