Just wondering on the results that machines have had with the aftermarket Swing Bearings? Pricing differences and longevity etc.

Thanks

the lifetime of ordinary slewing bearing is usually 7-8 years, it can work 30000 hours in theory. Price differences of slewing bearing depends on the precision grade and steel materials.

MOD EDIT

From time to time, We have a tremendous amount of slew bearing, water pump and other industrial product spam. The above post is more of the same and yantalwuwu lost their membership here at HEF over it.:cool2

So here's a little hint to all the wanna be spammers who are thinking of posting crafty little links and pretending to actually be part of the discussion - We've seen it all. I am going to leave yantalwuw's carcass here as a scarecrow but I doubt it will make a difference.

The major cost of bearings is the cost to install them and the amount of money the machine looses while it is not working. Add those up and the price difference between the best and worst bearing is not much.
