Takeuchi TB130FR (2007

I’ve recently received access to use a 2007 Takeuchi TB130Fr. Everything works apart from the fact that the boom won’t lift (will lower). When trying to activate the boom lift it doesn’t sound like hydraulic pump is activating). Can someone help with anything I can check? I used to be an auto mechanic and have done a small amount of work on mini excavators but am by no means an expert!

Thanks for this. It helped me trace the fault to a broken wire in the box on top of the boom. Thank you
