Does anybody have a picture or a blueprint of a stationary thumb that would work on a case 9030b?, or a place that might sell used parts?

Pemberton has pictures on their website. http://www.pembertonattachments.com/prod/thumbs.html
There is an active thread about thumbs started by southernman . Did you see this thread started on 02=22-2015 ? https://www.heavyequipmentforums.com/showthread.php?49529-Weld-on-thumb

thanks, I just looked at that thread and sent for a quote from pemberton (but is probably to expensive), but this must be fairly easy to make...especially the non hydraulic version...just wondering if anybody has made one, what thickness steel was used etc.

Keep a eye on http://www.ironplanet.com look under attachments. May take some time to find one for your machine, sales are weekly. I have gotten some good deals on attachments from them. Some used and some new.

good luck.
