In what way? the engine is a tier2 in the E and a tier3 in the F, after that a lot of the differences you see can easily be attributed to what the first customer specified on the options lists for their machine from factory.

In terms of onboard computer most of new models are built with alot of new electronics kinda avoiding that. I have read volvo guidelines seems like F models are stronger overall than E not sure

Things will be a little more " ironed out" by the F series as it is basically an E with more stringent emissions controls in place.

Mechanic suggested E over F, options are available to get both been running L90Fs so far in a close working cement plant does farly good job but do have tendency to blow up hydraulic pipes and did headgsket due extreme operating conditions here n there. Id say F are over all handy

Appreciate your help

Had two L70E. Both performed reliably UNTIL one failed a transmission @8k hours. Dealer replaced and that one went less than 1k hours and failed again. Warranty replaced and then it and it's sister were traded in. Its sister also showed transmission issues, but wasn't fully failed.
$28k for the transmission and cooler, IIRC.
