Yesterday,I'm on a homeowners site looking for his well so my plumber can install a new pump. The day before,this poor 70 year old guy dug up half his yard by hand trying to find it.So I start looking,with his fuzzy memory of 30 years ago when he last saw it guiding me.After about 1.5 hours,nothing,now the plumber is getting hot and he wants to start chasing down the line exiting the house.Of course,I have no problem with that, but the client is on verge th have a coronary.He's worried about his flagstone walk right in front.So, I start digging and find it----right under his walkway that he built 30 years ago.The memory he is a terrible thing to waste!!
