    PJ cushion tilt plumbing

I believe the resivour is to make up the volume differential between rod side and barrel side. As it is now there is alot of dead space in the barrel end and the tilt is not controlled until the piston catches up to the fluid in the barrel. Too uncontrolled for a 12k mini. The trailer is...

    PJ cushion tilt plumbing

I have a Maxey tilt deck trailer that has a single cylinder with a hose that runs from rod to barrel. I want to convert it to a PJ cushion tilt style with a resivour and 3 way ball valve so it can be locked in the tilt position. I have a resivour and ball valve but am looking for info on how to...

ASV PT100 Tachometer not Working and Hour Meter Wiring

I believe you need to slightly raise cab and pull the tab inward. Your hockey puck is the block heater most likely. Never used mine and likely would never need it unless Temps are below the teens.

    ASV RC85/100 seat bolt pattern

They are a very generic seat. Personally I'd pull the panel and remove the seat. Get a nicer seat and Redhill pattern if necessary. Crappy vinyl cracks quickly. Watch the headroom if using a different seat.

ASV RC100 Water in hydraulic fluid

breather vents to atmosphere, make sure the filter points down or lenthgen hose to an area that won't get water intrusion. Also make sure the cap seals well. Snow can pile up around the filler and leak into the tank.

ASV PT100 Tachometer not Working and Hour Meter Wiring

PT100 wiring is different than RC100 wiring, at least for the instruments. I had a 2006 RC100 and currently have a 2006ish PT100 alternators and wiring are different for some reason.

Cat C 4.4 engine in a telehandler-- Is that going to be a huge money pit?

2007 likely won't have any emissions garbage. Parts are readily available from perkins (1104) or Cat (3054). I have the perkins variety and almost all issues derive from the fuel system or electrical issues within the machine itself.

    670 Hydra-ax hydraulics

A 670 is a rubber tired feller buncher. Personally I own a 2670 which is a ewer variation once Prentice took over Hydro-ax. As far as I know the hydraulics are load sense at least on my unit. On a 2670 there is a load sense filter located on the pump below the air filter housing and charge...

    Kubota kx040 grease zerk size

Good to know. It isn't my machine so I wanted to make sure it was replaced with oem style fitting.

    Kubota kx040 grease zerk size

So the zerks are British Pipe thread. 1/8-28 to be exact.

    Kubota kx040 grease zerk size

Anyone happen to know the thread size for zerk fittings on Kubota excavators? Specifically the zerk at the end of the stick on a KX040. It's just a tiny bit smaller than 1/8 pipe zerk and it it tapered like a pipe zerk. British pipe thread?

Maybe the best Hammer-Chisel for weld removal

Great tool suggestion. I did some similar repair work to my Fecon head a couple years ago. Looks like a great tool. Any tips on reseating a 28L-26 bead in the field? Hoping that day will never come.
