need advice getting a stuck pivot pin out

If you can get a mag drill in there and then tap the hole you might be able to press/pull it out. Think we tried welding a nut on to pull it with no luck. I remember access issues with a sawed off sledge and when my bosses' CP717 wouldn't move it, that's when it went to the lance.

need advice getting a stuck pivot pin out

Oh, those were always fun to work on as rentals. Get that nest out of there and hit it with a torch. A real air hammer can try to knock it loose and get it to start moving. It's most likely going to need a shock to break it loose before a jack will start to move it, and hoping it didn't wear a...

John Deere 260 skidsteer excessive engine shake.

3029 engine by chance? They are rattling monsters. At 1800rpm in gensets they shear off exhaust flanges, break welds on muffler mounts and snap off the fender mount style starter solenoid brackets.

200KW generator rather than store bought power, what do I need to know?

Sorry, I meant a Deep Sea controller retrofit, not Flight Systems. The Kohler DEC3 is a good controller, but when the boards start having issues they can be a pain to properly diagnose and are pricey to replace. Many elect to update to a newer controller and aftermarket AVR that's easy to plug...

If nothing comes up through here, you may want to try the Fiat-Hitachi section on "MHH Auto".

200KW generator rather than store bought power, what do I need to know?

From the Spec number, that should be basically a rebranded Kohler 250RZD/RZDB with a slightly reorganized DEC-3 16 Light Controller. Gen-end and controller parts are still all available through Kohler (or Rehko now). Also can updated to a Flight Systems controller pretty easily (or ordered...

200KW generator rather than store bought power, what do I need to know?

You'd need to post up what you're checking out at auction or private sales to give you real world pros & cons (not links that would drive up the price, just model info). Nat Gas at that kW is going to chew through some fuel. You'd likely be looking mostly at a PSI 10L-T or 11L, or some older...

CAT HVAC guys in here? Need schrader valves.

Can pick up the 26780 Four Seasons / Murray kit online or from the local auto parts store that has a mix of AC valve cores. https://www.autozone.com/p/four-seasons-a-c-system-valve-core-and-cap-kit-26780/912016

    Hard to start. White smoke.

How long is the glow plug lamp staying lit, or is it coming on at all? Spec for a lot of the Taki's was to not pre-heat unless the coolant temp showed 32deg F or less.

Genie GS-3369 RT Won't always auto level

Been a while since I've worked on one, but I do remember having to pull the covers off of the outriggers and test the limit switches on each cylinder. If one is out of adjustment or failed, it messes up the whole leveling system. Post up your machine serial, can get better help if folks know...

    Skidskeer 226b3 A/C Oil

Compressor should come pre-filled, but may need to top it off with oil to system specs. The canned AC flush followed by compressed air work really well, but if possible it's best to remove all the components you'll be re-using to get a full flush and not have some debris stuck in a low spot...

Genie manlift leaking under basket swivel

That would be your call. We did a ton of them for the rental outfit I worked at, and the turnaround time and liability were a big factor. If you have the time for a teardown and re-seal over a weekend, absoulutely save the $800.

    Good healthy carnage

Was 125ft/lbs the ARP spec for your 5.9? Just wondering since I overtorqued mine to 110ft/lbs on my 6.9idi, but that only sees 10-15lbs of boost. Granted, that was 15 years ago, so never know where the quality of anything is at now.

Genie manlift leaking under basket swivel

From the picture, it does look like your lower 90deg fitting on the block to the hose has been hit, so I'd check that the aluminum threads haven't been stripped in the block, in case it's leaking from there. It's faster and easier to just replace the whole swivel assembly than re-sealing, it...
