Got a cummins engine i am installing a new flywheel housing to get the starter on the side I need it and also for a more standard motor mount rather than the cabover style they had in 69. So I have the flywheel housing installed and dialed in with a dial indicator. Bolts are torqued to spec...

Oil supply from pan 335 taper nose crank cummins

I have been kicking around the thought of finding a 10 gallon steel pan and welding a new oil pick up in it and deleting the stock pick up. I like the idea of the larger oil capacity.

Oil supply from pan 335 taper nose crank cummins

Here is the fitting for the double feed pan. Im sure the single feed fitting is much larger. That seems to be the only difference between the two feeds as far as the pan port size goes. All the pans have the same size port. I need to find this fitting for a single feed i guess

Trying to revive an old 335 taper nose crank cummins. The oil pan that was on it is a rear sump cast aluminum pan with two oil suction ports and two hoses to the oil pump. The hoses come together at a very large T at the oil pump Im pretty sure this pump is a newer style replacement pump as...

    3306b blown head gasket

Found a good ebay deal on the h bar puller set so I decided to buy that rather than take the time to fab one. Also ordered the central tools sled gauge and copper washers of of Amazon. Probably just get the bolts grade 8 at the farm store. Can't see why I'd need to pay the extra$$$$ to buy...

    3306b blown head gasket

I have a bunch I made for Cummins and Detroit engines. I stamp them if I can otherwise the paint markers work great. Harbor freight has the ammo boxes for cheap and I will separate it all in those and write on the lid Cummins tools or Detroit tools. Guess I will have to start one for...

    3306b blown head gasket

That's a good idea. I think I'm going to have to make a liner plate on my lathe. If you can find one it's rediculous the price fir no more than what it is!
