    jaltest will be the best universal software in my opinion but nothing beats oem software and depending on what your doing oem might be the only option to accomplish certain tasks, it all gets extremely expensive fast when talking software and adapters.

    Build up wedge type bucket ears

    from personal experience i would want the bucket build up softer than the coupler build up to insure the bucket wears before the coupler, we just use er70 on the bucket half moons and wedge slot and haven't had an issue

    There is no seal with the composite bearing from my understanding just a spacer washer. The purpose of the composite bearing is to minimize grease at the point of entry on the machine. I would personally rather have a steel bearing and a zerk but I wouldn't worry unless you start getting play...
