    Excuse my ignorance, but how profitable are scrapers ? What sort of rate do they work for and what does it cost to run them ? How much work is there around for them, with things slowing down ? Is it more cost effective to run 2 or 3 machines rather than one ? Thanks !

    Why haven't scrapers evolved very much ?

    Scrapers seem to be stuck in the stone age. There doesn't seem to be much difference between a 1960 model and a 1990s model compared to the changes in tractors, cars, combines and highway tractors. What gives ? Why aren't scrapers more refined ?
