John Deere 110 TLB losing power/stalling

It might be worth your time to check what the JD Ag guys call a thermistor. I had a similar issue with my JD 4300. Engines should be similar. It's the square yellow resistor in the attached. My understanding is it provides power to the fuel shutoff solenoid.

    TLB snow removal

I run a 10’ dymax blade on my 420. Typically just push banks back with it. My pickup is faster for small storms.

    420D Startup Fuel Issue

Evening, Cat 420DIT / BLN05998 / 7400+/-hrs Im assuming I have a fuel issue at startup. Cold tractor immediately fires then stops running. Takes another 2-3 20sec cycles to fire again. Machine runs great after running. I bought the tractor 4 years ago. It had shy of 7k hrs when purchased. Its...

    Stuck flat-faced coupler

I had a similar issue yesterday hooking up a snowplow to my rubber tire backhoe. Small amount of heat from a handheld propane torch cleared everything up. Andy

i posted this thread a couple weeks ago about my grandfathers tractor. https://www.heavyequipmentforums.com/threads/53’-or-so-hd6.94724/ On Sunday we moved the parts tractor to my cousins place. It runs good, just didn’t need 2 tractors in the yard anymore. 250 miles round trip. One nasty...

    What's your hoe doing?

I went to my buddies house on the other side of the valley Sunday. He had a narrow 1 truck driveway. Spent around 5 hours there making it so he can now park 6 trucks. He’s roughly 1,000’ above the valley floor.

GM 4.3l vs. 4.8l Which one you take?

My folks were in the newspaper delivery gig in the 70’s thru late 90’s. They had at least 6 4.3l that went over 600k without major internal work. Trucks fall apart before the 4.3 skipped a beat.

    Skid steer wood chipper

I purchased one and it showed up Friday afternoon. I went with the Titan (off brand) due to pricing. $2,700 delivered to my door vs the next closest one $14,750 (Quick Attach). There was not a bolt or nut tight on the unit when I received it. The female coupling was bad from the get go and...

On my 420, the handle needs to be horizontal to detach and attach bucket, forks etc. when I have my snowplow on, it needs to be vertical to operate left to right movements of the plow. Andy

    53’ or so HD6

I was cleaning up moms yard a couple weekends ago and needed to get my grandfathers dozer out of the way and go thru it. Last time I started it was about 2 years ago. Checked the oil’s and final drives. Released the battery disconnect, shot of ether and away it went. Tracked it to my garage...

    Smallest compact excavator with thumb?

My father told me time and time again “Hydraulics are a mans best friend. The dog may start the hole but you have to finish it or fill it in”.

    Skid mounted wood chipper

i believe I’ve decided to purchase a chipper. I’ve lived in central Colo my entire life and have always put fallen branches and the such into a burn pile. We then burn the pile typically for New Years when there is 3-8’ of snow on the ground. While this has and still works well, I’m thinking a...

I paid a couple hundred(s) for it. Putting an addition on the house this year so I can now lift walls much easier plus roof joists.
