    I manage a fleet of forestry equipment. All swing drives on our harvesters and all gear boxes on our forwarders are equipped with magnets on the drain plugs.     Hi folks -- Looking for a final drive for a KX161-3; considering Texas Final Drive and Con Equipment; TFD has one for under $3K, ConEquipment has an Italian-made model for $4K. Anybody have feedback on either vendor or another source? thanks Josh

    Takeuchi TB68

    Just purchased a used TB68 Serial # 68770 with the planetary gears gone in one of the final drives, I'm wondering what my best options are. I read that the China replacements are a different ratio and may need modifications to hook up the hydraulic lines ? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Cat 307 (‘96) final drive cover plate

    Hi, Might be a simple thing, but does anyone know how to remove the cover plate on the final drive (planetary side) on a cat 307 (2WM), ‘96? “Normally” there’s a snap ring in a groove around the plate. There’s a ring on this one as well, but seems to be a solid ring.. not sure how to snap it...
