1984 jd 640 transmission problem

I pulled the clutch valve off and the valve and spring that works with the clutch pedal seems fine but the one beside it not sure what it’s called. It’s real catchy and slides really hard.

The one that the file was pointing at it, slide super rough, and it was hard to get out of there

Are you able to clean everything and free up the sticky valve ?

I think so well they still be a little grabby since the have the prong on them or should they be smooth
