Good afternoon y’all,

Recently bought a 2008 caterpillar 414 E Skiploader. I’m trying to figure out and use the float function on the box blade, however, every time I push the single joystick forward all the way into until it clicks, the box blade will keep pushing down into the ground and lift up the back wheels on the Skiploader acting as if the hydraulics keep pushing it all the way down rather than floating the box blade. Any thoughts?

What kind of box blade attachment are you running? Does it require an electrical plug?

Will also need your serial number to (hopefully) determine what p/n joystick you have fitted.

Not sure if a machine that small has ride control fitted, but if it does try turning it off. Again a s/n would help with that too.
