I've been encountering significant issues with my 325CL over the past few months. Despite extensive troubleshooting, the engine continues to stall, particularly when hydraulics are engaged.
Initially, we suspected mechanical problems and replaced the PRV, injectors, injection pump, filters, oil, and solenoids. However, these replacements did not resolve the issue.
Further diagnostics revealed a faulty cylinder, which was successfully repaired. The engine now runs with ample power, responding well to acceleration.
However, the stalling persists. The engine can accelerate freely, but engaging the hydraulics causes it to stall or, in severe cases, shut down completely. Cat ET shows that the hydraulic pumps are functioning correctly, delivering the appropriate pressure.
It's puzzling that despite a healthy engine and functioning hydraulic pumps, the engine still stalls so dramatically. The lack of noticeable performance difference between speeds 4 and 10 also puzzles me
I'm currently planning to test the PRV and recalibrate the hydraulics, but I'm running out of leads for this persistent stalling problem. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
