Case 580B lower throttle foot feed return spring

Hello group members,

I have a Case 580B lower throttle foot feed return spring that is rigged with wire on the most forward attach point. The previous operator used wire wrapped around a steering line as an attach point for the spring.

1) Can you provide me with the dimensions of the proper spring?

2) Can you photograph the spring properly installed forward attach point?

The manuals don't detail the forward attach point, nor the spring's specs. THANK YOU in advance.

This has been discussed “many moons ago”.. complete with pictures and hook-up points..
I think it was one of Tinkerers posts.?? Or the fella that lives on an island who was rebuilding his 580b.
Anyway, u shouldn’t have to wait very long for an answer.. hang in there.
