Good afternoon. I just joined the forum here and am hoping to get some help, it looks like there is a lot of knowledge and experience on here. I recently purchased a 2012 John Deere 35D mini ex, mainly to use for some farm cleanup and landscaping work. For what I want to do I think a hydraulic thumb would be a great addition to the machine. Today I purchased a hydraulic thumb from miniexcavatorthumbs.com. They said the cylinder for the thumb is rated for 2500 psi operating and an absolute max of 2800. I don't want to damage or destroy the cylinder, so that's why I'm here. What is the normal hydraulic pressure on the auxiliary circuit for this machine? Next question, can the pressure be different on different hydraulic circuits? I don't want to turn the pressure down to protect the thumb cylinder and then lose machine performance otherwise. I have the original operators manual that came with the machine, plus I purchased the electronic version of both the technical manual and Operators manual. I can't find measuring or adjusting hydraulic pressure anywhere. looking for some guidance.
