Was checking the wiring schematic for your dash 8 machine and it is a positive disconnect on it. If you had a undercharged battery in it before it was used it could be difficult to charge on machine.
If the 12-24 Volt connector on the batteries has anything going on inside the cable you will end up with a discharged battery. Two recording meters hooked up on one battery each at a time at start up will tell all, as each one has to carry its fair share of the load. Better to test more before throwing parts at it.

Oh no
Doubt I’m not throwing parts at it. I believe im good go but as said I’ll check it daily the next few days as it
Will be idle. If it starts dropping off I’ll definitely put a meter on it
While starting. I’ll need to have help for that. Yes that’s correct the cutoff solenoid is a full disconnect.

You may quite possibly have just had an undercharged battery. You will know in a couple of days as you keep an eye on it. Have seen the disconnect switches leaking current before but wait to see what happens. If it leaks down I can explain how to test that Positive disconnect if it is a problem.

Ok checked it little while ago. We good. It’s been 24 hrs since it last ran and the suspect battery was holding at 12.63 volts. The other one had 12.5 volts. I’d say it just never ran long enough to get charged since it was installed. No drop in voltage since the charger was taken off Monday mornin. Not gonna over think it. Thanks for all the replies.
