About that calibrated elbow thing... On Head bolt application that call for the torque turn method, you can feel when the specified final angle s reached almost without fail( with new head bolts of course ) . How ever I still mark them anyway just in case. I have checked out those fancy torque wrenches on the tool truck that can do angle measurement, but they look to fragile to me.
