Really? We have sleeved them back to standard with dry sleeves many times in our shop. Sorry if my post suggested they were a "sleeved engine" such as an 855,N-14 or 3406.I do remember boring and sleeving a 3116 CAT back in the day in my oldman's machine shop,but I have never seen or done a 3208.

I've had a 3208 sleeved, it was an engine that had already been sleeved in the past but had been sitting/rusting in an old truck so had the it rebored and put the next size up sleeves in it (apparently you can get 2 or 3 oversizes). They start out with no sleeves though.
