Greetings All!

I think I can count on one hand how many times I've posted on a forum in total, so I have a lot to learn. My full time job is in public safety, but I'm a small time equipment operator. I've owned my 1830 Case skidloader for 20 years, but I've only had my 350 Case Dozer/backhoe for about 3. I've recently purchased an Allis Chalmers TL-14 loader. I only use my equipment on my small farm in Southern Minnesota and my goal is to spend more time operating my equipment than working on it.

My current challenge is with my TL-14, so anyone with experience in the issues (you know what they all are) please email me at kgallion130@yahoo.com and be my hero!

I'm a newbie here and I have a Ferguson 1949 T20 tractor, and I just picked-up a Case 580B. It's a 1973 but it has some leaks hydraulic I think, perhaps other leaks. Not sure yet. Operationally it's doing great. I only paid $4800.00 for the loader/backhoe but I think once I get the leaks fixed it will be a good ole tractor. This is my second post and for some reason I can't start a thread yet. I think I need more posts before I can post up my questions.

G'day all.
Thanks for the welcome. I'm keen to import used skid steers and UTV's into Australia as we are completely ripped off by the OEMs. Would appreciate some contacts re: supply, cleansing and shipping.
Looking to do this on a regular basis, so would like to start up a relationship with like minded souls.
Regards,
effies

Hey guys... My names Bob. I've been browsing on this site for a couple months now. alot of information and experience here. My background is really a simple one. I'm 25, went to school for Auto through the ford asset program, worked in a dealership during school. When i got out I did odd jobs for 6 months then landed a gig doing Fleet maintenance for a construction company. We have alot of different stuff. We have 2 Mini excavators, 3 track excavators, 2 rubber tire excavators. 3 wheel loaders, 3 Back hoes, 4 Skid steers, 3 Vibratory Rollers, a Pete tractor and dump truck, mack dump truck 2 international hook trucks and a cab over mack roll off. Oh ya, and we have a hydro-seeder and an IR tow behind compressor. Then there's 10 or so pick up trucks. I"m probably missing somethign. It's just me in the shop and sometimes it's alot of work. There's been a slight learning curve, but i've been there over a year now and I couldn't be happier. Hopefully i can contribute as much as I can. Thanks!

Guess, I missed this first posting. I just recently registered, in hopes of getting some answers about my new (to me), New Holland lx885. I got it this past early fall from an older gentleman in Dubuque, Ia. He and his brothers had a large const. company and sold it off a couple of years back and the Loader got missed at the auction. Finally he had to have his grand son post pics of it on Craig's list just as I was starting to look in earnest for a loader.

I had a Bob Cat 753, I bought in 1999 to help me build a new house. I kept it for 10 years and built several more houses Sold it to get the cash to buy our retirement cabin on a river in Iowa. Now 3 years after selling, I realized that I really missed having a loader around for light gardening and lawn work etc. Oddly enough SWAMBO agreed. When I went over to see the loader, it came with grouser tracks, a second bucket (light material), forks and a tooth bar. All that was included for a very reasonable price. I just traded the Light Material Bucket for a Hydraulically operated snow blade and just got it on the loader a couple of weeks ago, we got to use it for one snow storm. Worked like a champ.

Problem right now is that I can't use it as I am house bound after a total hip replacement operation in Dec. My next door neighbor gets all the fun.

Look forward to reading all the post on here.

Regards,

Tom...

Hi Stock. This forum is really fast! Didnt expect a reply already :) We are specialists in engine manufacturing and installation for the mine, marine, navy, rail and so on. I deal mainly with the big stuff 2000kW and up. Our engines normally go for 25000hrs before we redo them and send them for another 25000hrs. I dont want to mention our OEM or the Truck companies but I can however send some photos. Im just not sure how? Forgive me if I sound like an advertiser but I love my job and my company:D

Ibleedyellow

hey everyone! I have always been around the equipment industry--my dad has worked for a Cat dealer for 34 years. I now work as a sales rep for a different equipment dealership in Colorado. I am learning more and more by the day and am just excited to be in the industry. I have been reading this forum for several weeks now and it has been a big help in enabling me to understand some of thoughts and perceptions of many of the customers whom i deal with. All of my customers are small operations, usually 1-5 machines. Just happy to be a part of this industry and excited to continue learning.

For hobbies i enjoy hiking, climbing, skiing, and golf.
