Hey Guys I was just wondering what you feelings are on unions like local operators union like the one we have in CT here? Are they any good or should I stay Far away from them. See I was going to fill out the application in December for ther apprenticship program they are starting in march 06, But i want to get the genral feeling of if this is a good way to get training on running equipment. I was suppose to got to the school In FL but had to drop out because of Ihave been and still is dealing with health problems with my father. But a friend told me about the local union in Ct here (local 478 operator engineers) and I figured I would ask your guys opinion. The apprenticship is 4 years and they training ranges from skid steers all the way up to when you complete it you get you crane Liscense. So give me your opinions good or bad I want honest ones so I can make a good descion on this. and as always guys thanks.
