Good ol' Wagner fire. 1600 litres of hyd. oil spraying on the turbo!!!! The valves are under the boom and the hoses loop around below. A #20 hose developed a pin hole leak and was aimed directly at the turbo and kept supplying it with fuel to the point where nothing we had would even touch it. Had to call the local FD and have them foam it out. A bad day....

The update was a different brand of fire suppression and a new service company, a shield to seperate the engine compartment, heat wrap, 2 **** cans, 2 fire extinguishers, 1 C02 extinguisher, a water deluge system and a water source hook up that will reach anywhere in the sort....

H316

Sorry you guys but H316 was always a Franklin River Division truck she never left Franklin - none of those pictures were Sproat Lake Division. H316 was taken over by Hayes Forest and cut up at their Duncan shop along with 5 Columbia Dollies (these were the 50 ton trailers with a 5th wheel on them that were used to make up the train configuration. Lots of misconseption of what was a train TWO loads behind a truck was a pup and Three loads was a train;)

Great stuff, as always! That truck still had the 7 on the front when she arrived here, might explain why they chose "H-7". I tried to get you guys a recent picture, but H-7 was nowhere to be found. Must be in the shop for the weekend.

Interesting!! didn't Al B. drive that truck from new for something like 35yrs. I have some pics of it when Reg Smithe? owned it 1983 or so. I'll scan them and post them tomorrow its getting a little late here......
