    Cat 308 hydraulic fluid or motor oil

    I have a 97 cat 308B. I went to change the filters the hydraulic filter was milky. I am going to change to fluid. My father in law had an older JD that took motor oil in the hydraulic fluid. Does anyone know if this takes hydraulic fluid or motor oil? TIA!

    Cat 308 door won’t stay open

    I have a 97 cat 308, the sliding door won’t stay open. When I first got it, it was hard to close. Sprayed it with WD-40 Worked great for a while, now won’t stay open. I’ve tried adjusting the door up and down, took it off and lever looks fine not bent or anything. Any ideas? TIA!!
